Introduction
Bidvest Tank Terminals has an opportunity for a Business Support Analyst. This opportunity exists within the Information Systems Department, based in Head Office, reporting to the IT Operations Manager. The candidate must meet the following minimum criteria.
Job description
Main purpose of the job:
- To provide IT systems support to BTT users and enhance BTT IT Systems to ensure high availability and reliability
The successful candidate will engage in the following activities:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line system support
- Compile Business Analysis Documentation
- Perform system testing
- Identify areas for process improvement within SAP systems and propose innovative solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align business needs with technical solutions, manage expectations, and resolve conflicts
- Assist the Infrastructure team with service requests and new projects
- Ensure data integrity by performing regular data validation and cleansing activities
- Conduct research and development
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
- Strong analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent document writing skills and process flow design
- High levels of confidence
Minimum requirements
- BCom/BTech (IT) or similar
- SAP Certification preferable
- 1 years’ experience supporting SAP users in the following modules (MM, SD, PM, FI, PS, PP, EHS, BI, HCM)
